POINT5 THEATRE create work in collaboration. Our process in making work can stem from a conversation, an idea, a phrase or a lived experience. Throughout the year, we create work throughout multiple Research and Developments. All of these house opportunities for young and emerging artists at the start of their careers. Our recent developments have been supported by Imagine That Performing Arts within the Airdrie Arts Centre, Tron Theatre (Making Space), and The National Theatre of Scotland.

We are currently in the process of developing a piece of work exploring age and retirement with Collaborating Artists, Rebecca Conway, Hope Hill, and Liv Currie. This work will premiere at the Airdrie Arts Centre in April 2025, as part of an in-kind support project.

We are constantly looking for new ideas, stories, voices and people to join us in the process of making work. If you are a young person with a fire in your belly to create art, please get in touch.
